One of the Chimeras who sealed away Nestra and her apostles in the Abyss. After Ecila, another Chimera, went missing, Teay took up the role of the Dimensional Administrator and kept Egonix safe ever since. When thousands of years of assuming Ecila's duties eventually took their toll on her power as a Chimera, Teay echoed her voice across Gaia in order to find her replacement.

Dimensional Administrator Teay is one of the most self-sufficient damage dealers in the game. Her self-contained damage loop and rare defense debuff make her an exceptional PvE pick that requires very little team support to perform at a high level. She excels in all major PvE content including Boss, Farm, and End-game stages. In PvP however, her short active skill range is a hard limitation that keeps her out of competitive consideration.

Strengths

Top 10 DPS — fully self-sufficient — Teay applies Overload on herself via her critical hit attack, meaning she does not need any support hero to maintain her damage buff. She is entirely self-contained and slots into virtually any team composition.
+200% Crit Rate self-buff — the Collapse buff grants +200% Critical Hit Rate, meaning you can skip Crit Rate entirely in potential builds and invest everything into Attack or Crit Damage instead. A significant build advantage that maximizes her damage ceiling.
-75% final Defense debuff — one of the rarest in the game — End of Fear decreases the target's final Defense by 75% and increases damage taken by 30%. This is one of the highest defense reduction debuffs available, shared by only a handful of heroes.
Buff removal on every critical hit — her critical attack removes all buffs from the target on each successful hit.
Solid self-sustain — Chimera of the Goddess recovers 10% HP per second for 5 sec when under Overload, helping offset the Overload HP drain and keeping her alive in longer fights.

Weaknesses

Very short active skill range (35) — Dimensional Annihilation has a range of only 35, which is melee range. In PvP where positioning and reach are critical, this makes it nearly impossible to land her active reliably without getting focused and eliminated first.
Selfish kit — outside of the defense debuff on her target, Teay brings almost no team utility. Her buffs and Overload loop are entirely personal, making her a pure individual DPS with minimal team support value.

Is base Teay worth leveling to 100 for Codex bonuses even if I don't plan to awaken her immediately?

Yes — leveling her to 100 earns Rubies and permanent stat bonuses. The investment is worthwhile regardless of awakening timeline.

Is she the best defense debuffer?

She used to be, but Surtr has since taken that spot. Surtr deals slightly less damage but brings an additional +36% Crit Damage buff to the team. However, Surtr is not plug-and-play — he requires Overload and a healer to perform, whereas Teay is fully self-sufficient.

Is she playable in PvP?

Not really. She sits in an average spot — neither strong nor weak. I have faced several compositions with her, and she remains a filler option in PvP at best.
