A swordswoman who wields both the Power of Destruction and demonic power. Seeking vengeance for her family, who were slain by demons, Shane joined the Crusaders and gained demonic power. However, when the Curse of Destruction spread throughout the world, her newly-acquired powers began to run wild. Due to the efforts of Orly, the new captain of the Crusaders, Shane's rampage was finally ended. However, Shane herself was shaken by the fact that she'd tried to kill her own comrades-in-arms, and devoted herself to intense training. Her efforts bore fruit, and Shane re-emerged as a powerful warrior who could harness both the Power of Destruction and demonic power, striking fear into the hearts of the Crusaders' enemies and demons alike.

High Lord Shane feels like High Lord Alicia reimagined as a melee fighter on steroids, bringing yet another fantastic addition to the DoT-focused meta in Seven Knights Idle Adventure. She offers the same level of team-wide buffing power as her predecessor, but reshapes it around active skill scaling and critical damage, while also amplifying a different combination of damage-over-time effects.

Her area of effect trades some range for a different shape compared to Alicia's, but she compensates with significantly higher personal damage and the ability to spam her active skill more frequently when paired with the right team composition. She truly shines in Nightmare and Deep Nightmare content, though she requires a balanced roster to unlock her full potential.

Should You Use High Lord Shane?

Yes — High Lord Shane is a must-pull hero. She provides massive damage amplification against Nightmare Bosses along with strong personal damage, making her one of the best investments for end-game content.

Strengths

Top-tier Nightmare Boss support — grants +100% final damage against Nightmare Boss targets.
Enhanced critical scaling — increases the Attack modifier of critical hits and active skills for the entire team.
Unique debuff amplification — simultaneously boosts Burn, Poison, and Frostbite damage, a rare combination.
Excellent PvP presence — a 120 range active hitting a 10m wide x 5m long area with strong defensive buffs attached.

Weaknesses

Less effective outside Nightmare content — her +100% final damage bonus is limited to Nightmare Boss targets.
Requires a balanced team composition — needs 1 Support, 3 Ranged, and 3 Melee units to maximize her damage output.

Best Game Modes

  • Nightmare Boss content — her +100% final damage buff makes her one of the absolute best heroes available.
  • Endgame PvE — strong overall performance thanks to her damage amplification, team buffs, and personal damage.
  • PvP (Arena) — long-range AOE combined with strong defensive buffs.

Build & Optimization

A Critical Hit-focused build is recommended, as her Critical Hit Attacks reduce her Skill Cooldown, allowing her to spam her active skill more frequently. Pairing her with a balanced team of 1 Support, 3 Ranged, and 3 Melee units is essential to maximize the bonuses from Unleash the Demon and Starving Demon.

FAQ

Is High Lord Shane the new best High Lord for Deep Nightmare?

In our opinion, yes. High Lord Alicia previously held this spot, but Shane is slightly more effective, with her main advantage coming from her higher personal damage output.

Like High Lord Alicia, is High Lord Shane playable at 1 star?

Yes, even at 1 star her buffs remain extremely powerful, especially in Deep Nightmare, and that alone justifies her place in a team composition.
