Introduce in 5/29 Update

Pet Talk is a game mode that allows you to develop the bond between a pet and its hero.
The goal of the game is to raise your pet from an egg to adulthood.

As your pet grows, you will be asked questions about the bond between the pet and its hero.
A correct answer increases the affinity gauge. The stronger the affinity when the pet reaches adulthood, the more rewards you will receive.

How to unlock it ?

You unlock Pet Talk when you complete Chapter 471 in the story.

Begin the journey

You start with a random pet in the form of an egg (day -10), but you don't know what it is yet.
You must interact with it to reach day 0 and discover its identity.

Once discovered, you have the option to change your familiar for 1,000 rubies.
Please note that this is like a reset, and you will get a new random familiar in the form of an egg.

Pet progression.

Once your pet's identity has been revealed, you must interact with your pet to help it progress each day until it reaches day 100.
Each action costs you pet conversation energy:

  • Eating (1)
  • Sleeping (2)
  • Playing (4)
  • Showering (6)
  • Healing (15)

These regenerate automatically (both online and offline) at a rate of 1 every 3 minutes and have a maximum storage capacity of 300.
PS: To optimize your pet's development, you must interact with your pet at least once every 15 hours.

You can also craft 200 pet conversation energy per day using Elke's cauldron.
Recipe: 5 rare potions to create 1 pet energy.

Pet energy can also be aquired during various events or as gifts sent to your mailbox by the game team.

Energy gauge

Each action available with your pet has a gauge.
The goal is to prevent all of these gauges from falling to 0.
Otherwise, all rewards accumulated in the "pet gift" window will be lost.

Furthermore, if one of your gauges is too low and turns orange or red, you will gain less pet experience in the pet gift window.
(I don't think it's necessary to focus on this aspect because pet experience is one of the resources we have in abundance).

Pet gift

Your pet accumulates rewards, summon tickets, and pet experience every 10 minutes (online and offline).
The higher your current level with your pet, the higher your reward rate will be.

You must collect these rewards manually. If you go 24 hours without doing so, the accumulation will stop.
Be careful not to let all activity gauges drop to 0, otherwise the accumulated rewards will be destroyed.

Affinity progression.

When certain days (milestones) are reached, your pet will ask you a question related to its hero. You will be able to choose between two answers.

If you answer correctly, the familiar's affinity gauge increases.
If you give the wrong answer, nothing happens.

What is affinity used for?

Affinity is a gauge that starts at level 0 and can go up to level 5.
Affinity determines which reward tier you will be assigned at the end of 100 days: 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
