Unique Heroes - Seven Knights Idle Adventure

Unique heroes are the most interesting tier among heroes currently considered obsolete. Unlike Normal, Rare, and even Epic heroes, Unique heroes genuinely had their place in the game's meta, and some are still useful in the very early game today. If you're a veteran player, you probably remember relying on them to build your teams. This page explains which ones are still worth using in early-game, how to integrate them into your Codex strategy, and when to replace them.

Guide: "What Should I Do With These Unique Heroes?"

Unique heroes serve a dual purpose depending on your progression stage:

  • In early-game: two are still playable and will help you while you build your legendary collection.
  • In mid-game and late-game: like all lower tiers, they will only be used for the Codex and are no longer meant for combat.

The transition between these two phases depends entirely on your heroes and your luck. There is no universal moment, only when you unlock a legendary that performs the same role better than a Unique still in your team.

How to Obtain Unique Heroes?

Unique heroes are obtained through the classic summoning system with a 8% appearance rate. Like other tiers, you will naturally accumulate them over the course of your summons.

Unique Heroes Still Useful in Early-Game

Two Unique heroes deserve special mention because they address one of the most frustrating problems in the early game: enemy evasion.

In early-game, enemy evasion is the #1 issue you will face. Your attacks miss frequently, which significantly slows your progression and can block you on content that should otherwise be accessible. If you don't yet have a hero capable of debuffing enemy evasion, these two Unique heroes fill that gap adequately:

  • Noho portrait

Reduces enemy evasion, making your attacks far more reliable from the earliest stages of the game.
  • Chloe portrait
    Chloe
Fills the same evasion-reduction role, offering an alternative to Noho depending on your team composition.
These two heroes are not indispensable, they are a solid fallback while you don't yet have access to a stronger hero fulfilling the same role, such as

As soon as you have a competent replacement for the evasion debuff, Noho and Chloe can be swapped out without regret. Why Did Unique Heroes Become Obsolete?

As with Epic heroes, there was no single patch that killed them. It was the gradual accumulation of Legendary and Awakened heroes that naturally sidelined them. Their kits simply aren't impactful enough to withstand the power creep of newer legendary heroes.

Unique Tier Specifics

Unique heroes are technically distinguished from lower tiers by access to more progression systems:

SystemNormal / RareEpicUnique
Maximum Level5050100
Potentials2 lines3 lines
Stat Bonus
Accessories
Equipment

My advice: never invest in the Potentials, Stat Bonus, or Accessories of your Unique heroes. These systems consume precious resources that are far better spent on your Legendaries or Awakened heroes. The game will tempt you to optimise these heroes — resist: level 50, 60 at most.

How High Should You Level Your Unique Heroes?

This is the most important question on this page and the answer depends entirely on your progression stage.

For Codex purposes: level up to 50

Beyond level 50, leveling a Unique hero requires Hero Strengthening Stones, a precious resource. For a purely Codex-focused approach, level 50 is the cap to aim for. The additional rewards between 50 and 100 don't justify the investment while you have more important priorities.

For full optimisation: level up to 100, but be patient

It can become worthwhile to push your Unique heroes to level 100 only once all your Legendary heroes are already at level 100. Why? Because in late mid-game and early end-game, the Shard of Destruction mode takes higher priority. This mode unlocks stats far superior to those from the Codex, but only by leveling legendary heroes.

To give you a concrete idea: after nearly 2 years of daily play, not all of my legendary heroes are at level 100 yet. Leveling Uniques beyond level 50 is therefore a very long-term objective — be patient.

In What Order Should You Level Unique Heroes for the Codex?

The priority rule remains the same:

Step 1: Prioritise the right stats

  • Priority 1: Accuracy, then Attack / Crit Damage
  • Priority 2: All other stats

Step 2: With equal stats, prioritise the highest tier

Uniques come before Epic, Rare and Normal, but after Legendaries.

FAQ

Are Noho and Chloe really essential in early-game?

No, only if you get them early and have no other evasion debuffer. Enemy evasion is the number one problem for new players, and these two heroes address it directly.

When should I replace my Unique heroes in combat?

As soon as your legendaries cover the same roles more effectively.

Should I invest in Potentials and Accessories for my Uniques?

No, never. These resources are too precious to waste on heroes that will no longer be used in combat past early-game.

How many rubies do you earn by leveling a Unique hero to level 50?

200Rubies icon- Seven Knights Idle Adventure on unlock, 1,500 additional at level 50, and 4,500 at 10 stars, for a total of 6,200Rubies icon- Seven Knights Idle Adventure per Unique hero at level 50.

Is it worth leveling Uniques to level 100?

Only when all your Legendaries are already at level 100. The points recovered in Shard of Destruction mode are more important. This is a very long-term goal, even experienced players after two years of play aren't there yet.

What is the difference between a Unique hero and a Legendary hero?

Legendaries are the first truly competitive tier in the game, with a maximum level of 100, full access to all progression systems, and for some the ability to Awaken, along with kits designed for the current meta. Unlike Uniques, they remain relevant throughout the entire lifespan of your account.
