How does Chaos Ruins work?
In Chaos Ruins, you form two teams of 15 heroes and send them one after the other against the same boss and his minions.
The boss cannot die — the goal is simply to deal as much damage as possible across your two runs combined.
When your first team finishes, the boss fully resets to his initial state before your second team enters. Each run is completely independent.
One important mechanic to keep in mind: the more health the boss will lose, the stronger his stats become.
Buffs
The boss has buffs that boost your heroes damage if the boss suffers a specific dot.
The buffs change with each new rotation.
So it's important to check which dot the boss is vulnerable to at the start of each new rotation.
PS: It is now also essential to have the overload debuff, as a boss buff increases hero damage by 100%.

Example of boss buffs in a rotation
To avoid having to change teams every season, you can build each team with heroes that can apply all 3 debuffs : poison, bleed, and burn.
How to form an effective team.
Each of your formations must have all the basic buffs and at least the dot for which the boss will take more damage.
How to approach your two teams
Since the boss resets between runs, there is no reason to balance your teams equally. You are not trying to be consistent across both runs — you are trying to maximize total damage. Build each team independently around the best damage composition you can field, regardless of overlap between the two rosters.
Also have a hero with concentrated attack, to avoid spreading attacks across minions.
Take advantage of the new hero released Nadan, who has a huge damage buff on this boss.
The two best heroes for applying the debuff concentrated attack are Nadan and Undercover Ruri; they deal more damage than the others.
If you don’t have them, you can always replace them with these heroes, even if they aren’t fully upgraded: Mirage or Aquila.
What about defense?
Chaos Ruins is not a survival challenge. The only defensive requirement is being able to survive your own overload debuff, since each team needs to apply it to boost damage. A single healer per team is enough to handle that — no need to build tanky formations.
Everything else should be focused entirely on damage output.
Teams used
As you can see, my two teams have the three debuffs that can boost my teams' damage.
First of all, this is useful because it means I never have to change teams depending on the damage buff.
But I also play heroes like Juri, who boosts her damage with burn and bleed, or Radius in team 2, who needs burn and poison.
So I combine business with pleasure.
Nadan and Undercover Ruri are also chosen for the concentrated attack debuff.
Not forgetting a hero with overload in each team.
With this team, I've achieved a score of 54,000,000,000 with fame at level 39.
Tips
In my opinion, it is essential to have at least two entry tickets per day for this dungeon in order to progress well.
This dungeon provides you with most of your daily gold.
So if you are a free-to-play player, don't hesitate to watch an ad to get an extra entry.
The XP and gold you will obtain depends on your maximum stage cleared.
The maximum number of chests that can be collected in a run is 1000.
Beginner's tip: Wait until you are stuck in your stage progression before opening the chests.
