When the high-ranking demons who hired her committed the grave mistake of looking down on her, Devi ensured they paid with their lives, and was banished for her crimes. Her misdeeds and brutal nature caught the eye of Judas, who recruited her to his cause. Devi quickly found issue with her new master and sought to defeat him as well, but soon realized that she was no match for Judas. Accepting her defeat, Devi declared herself a devout follower of Judas, and took the lead in slaughter and torture.

Azure Slayer Devi is a hero with a unique PvP mechanic and a PvE kit that has aged somewhat since her release. Her ability to launch allies forward is a genuinely creative tool in competitive play, but her PvE value has been overshadowed by stronger options. She can still contribute through Overload, but with a significant positional restriction that limits her reliability in high-level PvE content.

Strengths

Unique ally launch mechanic in PvP — It's Carnage Time! instantly knocks back allies in front of her by 12m, propelling them forward directly into the enemy team. This allows your heroes to skip the walk across the battlefield entirely and engage immediately — a significant positioning advantage in PvP.

Overload applicator — her active skill applies Overload to allies in a 20m wide and 3m long area behind her, providing a team damage boost for Overload-dependent heroes when the positioning is right.

Strong personal sustain — the Azure Slayer buff recovers 15% HP every 0.5 sec for 3 sec on Final Blow, giving her solid self-healing in combat.

Bone Fracture crowd control — her critical hit attack stuns and bleeds the target simultaneously, making her a decent CC option in specific PvE encounters.

Weaknesses

Overload restricted to allies behind her — her active only applies Overload to allies in the area behind the caster. In high-level PvE where team positioning is less controlled, maintaining this alignment consistently is difficult, making her a frustrating and unreliable Overload applicator compared to Ecila in Dreamland who applies it to the entire team without restriction.

Outclassed in PvE — she used to be a solid Bleed DPS, but stronger options have since been released. Her current PvE role is limited to Overload support, and even there she is not the best choice.

Recommended Synergies

High Lord Evan The primary PvP partner. Positioning Devi behind Evan allows her active to launch him directly into the enemy team, bypassing the entire walk phase and enabling immediate engagement.

War God Demon King Lu Bu Transforms into a DPS under Overload, making him a natural beneficiary of Devi's Overload application when positioned correctly behind her.

Vows of Creation Agni Benefits from having Overload maintained on her by Devi, supplementing her own self-Overload which is too short to keep up consistently on its own.

Best Game Modes

PvP (Arena) — her best mode by far. The ally launch mechanic is a unique tool that can give your team a decisive positional advantage when paired with the right heroes.
PvE (situational) — usable in Chaos Ruins and Abyss Expedition as an Overload support, but only if you lack better options. Ecila in Dreamland is a strictly superior Overload applicator for serious PvE content.
