Equipment Dungeon Guide - Seven Knights Idle Adventure

This dungeon is important because it gives you access to a shop where you can unlock and upgrade your heroes' equipment.

How it works

In this mode, 3 different bosses appear in turn on a weekly rotation.
Each boss has their own tier ranging from 1 to 30. This tier is retained after a rotation and is specific to each boss.

The tier increases by 1 with each victory against a boss.
The higher your tier, the more rewards you get.

You get one entry per day to fight the boss. If you lose, the entry is not consumed.
You can get an extra entry by watching an advertisement.

Level of difficulty

As this game mode was released before the arrival of awakened heroes,
the difficulty is somewhat lower because awakened heroes bring a huge power boost to your formation.

Rewards

With each victory, you get combat tokens and nemesis essence.

The combat token allows you to buy chests, which give you random equipment.
The nemesis essence is a currency that can be used in the shop.

Chests

Chests give random equipment. They have 4 levels of rarity (Basic, Rare, Unique, and Legendary) and always start at the Basic level.
You have 3 free chances per chest, each with a 25% chance of advancing the chest to the next level of rarity.

Although I don't recommend it, you can also decide to spend rubies (2,500Rubies icon- Seven Knights Idle Adventure per chance) with a maximum of 10 chances to increase the rarity.
For each rarity level, you will get more equipment per chest opened:

  • Basic = 1 equipement
  • Rare = 2 equipements
  • Unique = 3 equipements
  • Legendary = 4 equipements

Collaboration equipment

You can also get collaboration equipment in chests.

If you don't have the hero or don't use them, you can exchange this equipment in Elke's cauldron.
For each piece of equipment exchanged, you will receive 200 combat tokens in return.

Shop

Here is the list of items available for purchase in the shop (reset with each boss change).

  • Equipment 5 bundle summon ticket
  • Equipment selection ticket
  • Legendary hero selection ticket 7
  • Legendary hero summon ticket 7 * 2
  • Legendary pet summon ticket 2 * 2
  • 10,000 Refining stones * 5
  • 30 Hero summon tickets * 20
  • 30 Pet summons tickets * 20
  • 3 dish baskets * 20
  • 20,000 Refining stones * 5
  • 30,000 Refining stones * 5

The priority purchases are the Equipment Selection Ticket, Equipment 5 Bundle Summon Ticket, and Legendary Hero Summon Ticket 7.
Next are Refining Stones, then Legendary Hero Summon Ticket 7, and finally Legendary Pet Summon Ticket.
I wouldn't buy the rest unless you have a very large stock of Nemesis Essence.

At first, don't be fooled by the low cost of Refining Stones to upgrade your equipment.
They become very expensive in terms of resources.

Example: going from level 1 to 2 costs 120 Refining Stones, while going from level 30 to 31 costs 25,800.

Form a team

Each of these bosses has its own strengths and weaknesses, so you will need 3 different teams to defeat them.

Fang of the Glacier

This boss is immune to all controls except paralysis.
Therefore, the strategy is to add heroes who apply this debuff, such as Radgrid.

As a defensive solution, we prefer to use Restia to apply the veil buff, as this hero deals more damage than Arang.

Sandworm

Sandworm - Seven Knights Idle Adventure

This boss gives himself a buff if he receives a burn dot and gives himself a debuff if he receives a bleed dot.

Sandworm skill - Seven Knights Idle Adventure

This mechanic cannot be ignored, so use at least one hero who can apply a bleed dot.
And above all, do not add any heroes who apply burn dot.
Also, choose a hero who applies a veil to the team, such as Arang, to avoid debuffs and pulls.

The team that helped me pass all the tiers:

Ifrit

This boss applies debuffs and dots, to survive the boss's, I use a solution based on three heroes:

  • Arang, who casts Veil on the team.
  • Karma, who applies shields.
  • And Skuld, who heals and boosts final HP.

Since the boss is vulnerable to frostbite, choose a hero like Melia to apply it.

What is equipment used for?

Equipment is one way to boost your heroes' individual stats.
The more stars your hero has, the more stat boosts they will unlock through their equipment:

Stats
How to Unlock
Final Attackfrom the start
Final Defensefrom the start
Final HPfrom the start
Critical Hit Resistance2 stars
Critical Hit Rate4 stars
Bonus Damage Rate6 stars

In addition, each piece of equipment has a level that goes up to level 50.
The higher the level of the equipment, the more interesting the bonuses.
You gain 0.2% per level for attack, defense, and HP; 0.1% for Critical Hit Resistance and Critical Hit Rate; and 0.6% for Bonus Damage Rate.

When you unlock a hero's equipment, the maximum level immediately increases to 10.
Then, for each piece of equipment you unlock, you can increase your equipment by one level.

Each level up will cost you Refining Stones.

Bonus: Since the Shard Destruction update, upgrading the equipment of heroes (who are on the Shard Destruction list) gives you points to spend.
You get 2 points per level.

Tips

In my experience, when you use a hero in one of the formations, it is highly recommended that you have unlocked at least one piece of equipment for them.
The first 10 levels granted by the level give you a bonus damage rate boost of 6%, which is not insignificant.

To go further, gradually build up a stock of equipment selection tickets to unlock your heroes' equipment as soon as it is released.
