Radgrid was supposed to be the successor of her noble family, but when she was a teenager, her leg was broken in a duel by her step-sister Randgrid, and the role was taken from her. After her loss, Radgrid worked to find her own happiness and fell in love with a soldier named Freyr. However, he was executed for attempting to overthrow the heavens with the Power of Destruction, and Radgrid fell into a deep depression and became irritable and despondent. As a prophecy spread that the heavens would soon be destroyed, Radgrid realized that Freyr had been trying to use the Power of Destruction to prevent this tragedy. She decided to help his sister, Freyja, devise a strategy to collect the Shards of Destruction and prove that Freyr was right.

A hero that remains highly relevant in both PvE and PvP despite the awakened power creep.
