The sole Celestial among the twelve warriors who sealed Nestra in the Abyss. During the First Celestial War, Nadan joined forces with the Celestial Guardians in their attempt to seal away the Seven Demon Lords. Later, he sought out the Power of Cycles spread throughout the land alongside Freyja. However, this resulted in the power being corrupted into the Power of Destruction. Realizing the error of his ways, Nadan chose to fight alongside Elena instead. Even after Nestra was finally sealed, Nadan chose not to return to the heavens, and instead remained on Gaia to help human civilization foster and develop.

Strength

+600% boss damage in Chaos Ruins/Guild Boss

Weakness

Stack ramp-up, weak outside specialty modes

Chosen Hero Nadan is the undisputed master of Chaos Ruins and Guild Boss Battle. When fully stacked, his +600% final damage against bosses in these specific modes makes him one of the most impactful DPS picks available — but only there. In standard PvE content, he is noticeably less impressive, and his active skill being purely a buff rather than a damage skill limits his overall ceiling outside of his specialty modes.

Should You Use Chosen Hero Nadan?

Yes for Chaos Ruins/Guild Boss — essential. Skip for general PvE.

Strengths

+600% final damage in Chaos Ruins and Guild Boss Battle — at 7 Strengthening: Warrior's Oath stacks, his damage against bosses in these modes becomes exceptional. This single multiplier makes him the go-to DPS pick for both content types.
Concentrated Attack debuff — mandatory in Chaos Ruins — at 3 stacks, his critical hit attack forces all allies to focus the marked target. In Chaos Ruins where multiple mobs spawn constantly, this debuff is essential to avoid wasting damage on adds and keep the entire team focused on the main boss.
Ignores Crit Rate Resist at 9 stacks — at 9 stacks he also gains +100% final Crit Damage and completely ignores the target's Critical Hit Rate Resist. In end-game content where bosses have very high crit resistance, this is a massive advantage.
No Crit Rate investment needed — his Strengthening stacks already grant +9% Crit Rate per stack, meaning you can invest all your potential rolls into Crit Damage instead of Crit Rate.

Weaknesses

Stack ramp-up required — his best effects only unlock at 7 and 9 stacks. His active skill grants 5 stacks instantly, but reaching 9 stacks still requires time and setup. In short fights, he may not reach his full potential.
Active skill deals no damage — Heavenly Valor is purely a buff skill with no direct damage component. This limits his burst potential compared to other top DPS heroes whose active skills deal massive damage.
Noticeably weaker outside specialty modes — the +600% boss damage is locked to Chaos Ruins and Guild Boss Battle only. In standard PvE content like Hard Boss Challenge or Deep Nightmare, he lacks the raw output of top DPS heroes.

Best Game Modes

  • Chaos Ruins — his best mode — the combination of +600% boss damage and Concentrated Attack forcing team focus makes him the top pick for this mode. Do not run Chaos Ruins without him.
  • Guild Boss Battle — same reasoning, the +600% final damage bonus applies here too, making him equally dominant in guild content.
  • Standard PvE (situational) — viable but not exceptional. He can contribute his team Attack buff in other modes, but there are stronger DPS options available for general PvE content.

Build & Optimization

Recommended stats: Crit Damage & Attack. Skip Crit Rate — his stacks provide enough. Focus on maximizing damage output in his specialty modes.
