One of the Chimeras who sealed away Nestra and her apostles in the Abyss. After Ecila, another Chimera, went missing, Teay took up the role of the Dimensional Administrator and kept Egonix safe ever since. When thousands of years of assuming Ecila's duties eventually took their toll on her power as a Chimera, Teay echoed her voice across Gaia in order to find her replacement.

Weakness

Not viable without awakening

Teay is the base version of Dimensional Administrator Teay, a melee DPS hero with dimensional manipulation abilities. While she shares the same core kit as her awakened counterpart, there are significant differences that make her not viable for combat in her base form.

The awakened version receives dramatically higher damage output and enhanced dimensional abilities. Without awakening, Teay's damage output is far too low for any serious team composition. The gap between base and awakened heroes is simply too large to justify running the base version in any content.

It is worth leveling this hero up to level 100 in preparation for their awakening, which is when they truly become competitive and worth investing in. In the meantime, use them for the Codex to earn Rubies and permanent stat bonuses.

Should You Use Teay?

No — Teay should only be leveled for Codex purposes. The power gap between base and awakened heroes is too large to justify running her in any team composition.

Strengths

Overload mechanic — Her Critical Hit Attack applies Overload (+5% final damage but deals 5% Max HP self-damage per second), which triggers Chimera of Elena (heal) and Black Claws (Crit Damage buff).
Defense reduction — Her active skill "Dimensional Collapse" inflicts End of Silence (-50% Defense) and applies Dark Insight (Nullify 3 times, Weakness Attack buffs).
Buff removal — Critical Hit Attack removes all buffs from the target and inflicts Empty Dimension (Movement Speed -50%, Reduction Rate -24%).

Weaknesses

Not viable without awakening — the base version has dramatically lower damage output compared to Dimensional Administrator Teay. Her active skill deals significantly less damage.
Lower Rift bonuses — the awakened version gains stronger Rift bonuses (higher Crit Rate, Attack, Accuracy). The base version has weaker versions.
Self-damage from Overload — Overload deals damage to Teay herself, which can be problematic without ally survivability.

Best Game Modes

  • Codex — level up Teay to 100 to unlock the awakening and earn Rubies and permanent stat bonuses.

Build & Optimization

Roll for Critical Hit Rate. In Tower of Ascension high floors, boss enemies have substantial Crit Resist that weakens your damage output. Exceed 100% to keep your Overload loop and defense reduction always active.
