Solderet's Contractor Jin is a PvE-oriented hero whose main value lies in his extremely rare team debuff rather than his personal damage output. His Withered Force debuff — decreasing Bonus Damage Rate Resist and Weakness Attack Rate Resist by 24% — is one of the rarest and most impactful team damage amplifiers in the game, previously exclusive to a handful of collaboration heroes. His personal damage is average and heavily dependent on Corrosion, but his debuff utility alone justifies his inclusion in serious PvE teams. Surprisingly, he is also a decent PvP option thanks to his active skill.

⚠️ Solderet's Contractor Jin is a collaboration hero — he can only be obtained during his collaboration event. If you missed it, you will have to wait for the collab to return before being able to summon him.

Strengths

Extremely rare and valuable team debuff — Withered Force decreases the target's Bonus Damage Rate Resist by 24% and Weakness Attack Rate Resist by 24%. This debuff was previously only available on a very small number of collab heroes, and now Seeker of the Truth Sage is one of the rare non-collab heroes to also provide it. The team-wide damage amplification it provides is enormous and hard to replicate.

+100% final damage with Corrosion — when attacking a Corrosion-afflicted target, his critical hit attack doubles his final damage output. With Siris in the team, he becomes significantly more impactful.

Solid PvP active skill — Soul Slash hits a 4m wide and 25m long area at 120 range, which is excellent coverage for PvP. Combined with the 3-stack Veil and +24% Reduction Rate from the 13th Battle King buff, he has enough survivability to make an impact in the Arena.

Weaknesses

Collaboration Hero — Can only be obtained during limited periods.

Average personal damage without Corrosion — without a hero applying Corrosion, his damage output is mediocre for an awakened hero. He is entirely dependent on Heir to the Hidden Palace Siris to reach his damage potential.

Recommended Synergies

Heir to the Hidden Palace Siris Mandatory pairing. Without Corrosion applied by Siris, Jin loses his +100% final damage bonus and drops to average damage output. These two must always be played together.

Best Game Modes

PvE End-game — Deep Nightmare, Nightmare, Hard Boss Challenge, Tower of Ascension, Abyss Expedition, Chaos Ruins — his Withered Force debuff amplifies the entire team's damage output in any sustained PvE fight.
Pet EXP Daily Dungeon — a solid pick for this mode thanks to his debuff.
PvP (Arena) — a surprisingly decent option. His long-range AOE active, 3-stack Veil and Reduction Rate buff give him enough tools to be a legitimate PvP pick, even if it is not his primary purpose.
