Twins born from a celestial Valkyrie and a demon. Branze, the older brother, has more demonic blood, and Bransel, the younger brother, has more Valkyrie blood. It is said that their parents were executed immediately after their birth for being in a forbidden relationship. As children, they were looked down on by the celestials because they were half-demon. Unable to bear this, Branze committed a terrible act and they were banished to the earthly land of Telus. They were taken in by the priest, Platin, and stayed at the temple, but when Telus was destroyed, they joined the Dark Knights with Platin. After learning that the person responsible for destroying Telus was none other than Pallanus, they started moving independently.

Melee DPS with team buffs

Weakness

Not viable in pvp or a damage role without awakening

Branze & Bransel is the base version of Troublemakers Branze & Bransel, one of the most impactful melee DPS heroes in the game. While they share the same core kit as their awakened counterpart, there are significant differences that make them not viable for combat in their base form.

The awakened version receives dramatically higher damage output, the powerful Madness buff that stacks with melee heroes, stronger team buffs (+45% Attack), CC Immunity, and shields. Without awakening, Branze & Bransel's damage output is far too low for any serious team composition. The gap between base and awakened heroes is simply too large to justify running the base version in any content.

It is worth leveling this hero up to level 100 in preparation for their awakening, which is when they truly become competitive and worth investing in. In the meantime, use them for the Codex to earn Rubies and permanent stat bonuses.

Should You Use Branze & Bransel?

No — Branze & Bransel should only be leveled if you lack a buffer for attack and critical damage. He has lost his status as the god of PvP.

Strengths

Melee team synergy — Branze & Bransel's buffs scale with melee-type heroes, making them effective in full melee compositions.
Team Attack buff — Their attacks grant team Attack buffs, providing some utility even in base form.

Weaknesses

Not viable without awakening — the base version has dramatically lower damage output compared to Troublemakers Branze & Bransel. Their active skill deals significantly less damage.
No Madness buff — the awakened version has the unique Madness buff system that stacks Attack, Crit Rate and Crit Damage with melee heroes. The base version lacks this entirely.
Weaker team buffs — the base version grants significantly lower Attack buffs (+30% only) compared to the awakened version (+45%).
No CC Immunity or shields — the awakened version provides CC Immunity and shields to the team, the base version doesn't have this capability.

Best Game Modes

  • Codex — level up Branze & Bransel to 100 to unlock the awakening and earn Rubies and permanent stat bonuses.
  • Pve if you miss some buff.

Build & Optimization

Roll for Critical Hit Rate. Late-game Chaos Ruins enemies apply heavy Critical Hit Resistance that can suppress your crit chance. Build above 100% so your Madness stacks and Attack buffs always activate on every hit.

Investment Advice

Early game
Low - It's too much of a hassle to put together a team of 10 melee.
Mid game
Awaken immediately
Late game
Awaken immediately - very good in pvp
