The very first captain of the Crusaders and the commander who led the human alliance to victory in the war between the humans and the demons. Despite being born half-elf, half-demon, she chose to stand with humans to prevent a massacre at the hands of the demons. Following the war, she founded the Crusaders in order to gather capable allies that could exterminate all of the demons from this world. Having sustained a grave injury in a battle against a great demon, she is currently in deep hibernation in order to recover her strength under Orly's wing.

Weakness

Power creep reduced PvP durability

Aquila is a Defense Type tank whose primary utility in PvE is her Concentrated Attack debuff application, making her a situational replacement in Chaos Ruins when dedicated picks like Undercover Ruri or Chosen Hero Nadan are unavailable. In PvP, she remains a functional tanky option in secondary and tertiary teams when built with HP potentials — though the awakened power creep has reduced her staying power compared to her pre-awakened dominance.

🤔

Should You Use Aquila?

Only as a situational replacement in Chaos Ruins. Replace her with dedicated picks like Undercover Ruri or Chosen Hero Nadan when available.

Strengths

Concentrated Attack — forcing all allies to focus the marked target is mandatory in Chaos Ruins where multiple mobs spawn constantly. If you lack better options, Aquila provides this debuff as a functional replacement, keeping team damage focused on the main boss.
Self-sustaining tank — her critical hit attack recovers 10% HP and reduces skill cooldown by 2 sec simultaneously, giving her consistent self-healing throughout fights that helps her stay alive longer in both PvE and PvP.
HP potential build — scales into a tanky PvP option — investing all her potentials into HP significantly increases her effective HP pool, making her noticeably more durable in PvP second and third team slots where tanking incoming damage matters more than dealing it.

Weaknesses

Power creep has reduced her PvP durability — before awakened heroes, Aquila was a formidable tank. Today, awakened hero damage output is high enough that she gets broken down faster than before, and she lacks the additional defensive layers (revive, undispellable shields) that dedicated PvP tanks like Radgrid bring.
Situational PvE role only — outside of Chaos Ruins as a Concentrated Attack replacement, she has no unique value that other heroes do not provide more effectively. Do not slot her into standard PvE teams unless you specifically need her debuff.
Negligible damage — as a Defense Type tank, her personal damage output is extremely low. She is purely a utility and survivability pick.

Why Aquila Stands Out

Her Concentrated Attack debuff is essential in Chaos Ruins for focusing fire on bosses, and she provides a self-sustain package that works in both PvE and PvP.

Best Game Modes

  • Chaos Ruins — if Undercover Ruri or Chosen Hero Nadan are unavailable, Aquila applies Concentrated Attack from her critical hit attack and serves as a functional alternative to keep the team focused on the boss. Replace her with a dedicated pick as soon as possible.
  • PvP (Arena) — built with HP potentials, she provides reasonable tanking value in second and third PvP teams.

Build & Optimization

Focus on HP potentials for maximum survivability in PvP. For PvE, prioritize skill cooldown reduction to maintain consistent debuff application.
