The day before his coronation as the first Emperor in history, he was murdered by his own brother Royster. Alcyion the knight was a stalwart presence in battle, riding ahead of his men and commanding a company comprised of the heroes of the time, including Medea. He was so devoted to his cause that he spent most daylight hours in full armor, ready to ride into battle at a moment's notice. This was the dedication that brought the Centurion, a rural family, to the highest seat in the land — an honor that the man himself did not see a single day of.
