The lord of Moonlit Isle and the master of the Leader Sword. He ascended to the seat of lord at the tender age of eight upon the sudden demise of his parents during the great war. He started learning swordsmanship from Teo to protect his subjects. While his long training produced little progress, his determination to save his sister Daisy when she was kidnapped moved the Leader Sword. Thus he gained formidable power as the sword's master.

Strength

Team Attack Speed buff and Poison applicator

Weakness

Outclassed DPS, requires Bleed for best debuff

Crescent Moon Ace is one of the earlier awakened heroes whose kit has been largely outpaced by newer releases. His most reliable contribution today is a team-wide Attack Speed buff, while his main damage mechanic depends on the target already being Bleeding — a frustrating requirement that is hard to guarantee consistently. He can function as a secondary support or Poison applicator, but he is not recommended as a primary DPS.

🤔

Should You Use Crescent Moon Ace?

Consider — useful for Attack Speed buff and Poison application. DPS role outclassed by newer heroes. Best as secondary support.

Crescent Moon Ace in team 3 Abyss Expedition.

Strengths

Team-wide Attack Speed buff — Moonlit Cleave grants all allies +36% Attack Speed on every successful critical hit. This is currently his most valuable contribution to any team, as Attack Speed directly increases the frequency of skills and attacks across the entire roster.
Wide active skill AOE — Lunar Shadow Flash hits a 10m semicircle at 100 range, which is a decent coverage area. It also removes all buffs from the target on hit and grants +100% Crit Rate, making it functional even if its raw damage is underwhelming.
Poison applicator — he applies Poison on every critical hit, which can be useful in teams built around Poison synergies or in Chaos Ruins where Poison is rewarded.

Weaknesses

Engraving: Orochi requires prior Bleed on the target — his most powerful debuff only applies if the target is already Bleeding when his active lands. If no Bleed is present, Engraving: Orochi fails entirely, wasting 10 seconds of his best damage window. This dependency makes him frustrating to use reliably in practice.
Below average DPS — his damage output is not competitive with current top-tier or even mid-tier awakened DPS heroes. He is best considered a secondary team pick at best, and a third team option in most end-game scenarios.
Very low survivability in PvP — only 2 Nullify damage stacks from his active and no revive or self-sustain. He is fragile and easy to eliminate in competitive play, making him a poor PvP investment.
Average PvP impact — his active AOE and range are decent but his low attack modifier (2250%) and the lack of survivability make him a weak PvP pick overall. Not a hero we would recommend for the Arena.

FAQ

Is Crescent Moon Ace worth pulling?

Consider — his Attack Speed buff is useful but his DPS role is outclassed. Best as secondary support or for Poison/Chaos Ruins teams.

Is Ace a good curse debuffer?

Not really. His Engraving: Orochi curse requires the target to already be Bleeding before his active lands. If no Bleed is applied in time, the curse fails entirely and you waste roughly 2 seconds waiting for the next active cycle. In fast-paced fights where a boss can heal or a PvP window closes, those lost seconds are costly. The Bleed prerequisite makes him too unreliable as a curse debuffer.

Is Ace's damage boost against melee targets useful?

Yes — in content like Abyss Expedition where bosses have specific class types, his melee damage boost has practical value. It is a niche benefit, but one worth noting for that specific game mode.
