Luna Runcandel is the base version of White Whale Luna, one of the most powerful DPS heroes in the game. While she shares the same core kit as her awakened counterpart, there are key differences that significantly affect her overall effectiveness.
The main difference is that the awakened version gains +250% final damage when attacking enemies affected by Corrosion — a bonus that the base version lacks. Without it, Luna's damage output drops significantly, making her much less viable in high-end content. The awakened version also has higher Critical Hit Rate, stronger team buffs, and improved active skill damage. If you want Luna to reach her full potential, awakening is essential.
