Albedo's Poison utility is significantly weaker. While Albedo can apply a basic Poison DoT (Damage over Time) at 20% of her Attack per second, she cannot compete with dedicated Poison archetypes like Cat Mage Lucia. Lucia applies Poison far more consistently, and more importantly, Lucia's poison stacks. Once you reach 2 or more stacks with a dedicated hero, their damage scales exponentially, leaving Albedo's single-layer Poison far behind.

Is Albedo worth investing in purely as a Poison enabler for a DoT team?

No, she is a low-priority investment. If your goal is to build a modern DoT team (for example, to feed Frontman Dellons's Multi-DoT scaling), Albedo is outclassed. While she is technically functional, there are much better standalone Poison appliers available who offer superior utility and higher damage output. Only use her as a temporary budget filler.
