A high priest who serves the goddess Nestra and is the second-in-command of the Dark Knights. Although he was the son of a prestigious noble family of Telus, he was very interested in religion and chose to become a priest. Because of his innate magic and faith, he was chosen by the goddess at a young age and became her messenger on Telus. After the fall of Telus, he received a divine message to collect Shards of Destruction, and he formed the Dark Knights with his childhood friend Pallanus before traveling to Gaia under Yeonhee's guidance.

Apostate Priest Platin character design in fight - Seven Knights Idle Adventure

Character design in fight.

Awakened Platin is a complete transformation of a hero that was previously stuck at Tier C. His awakening pushed him directly into Tier S, solving his core end-game problem of unreliable debuff application. He is now one of only four heroes to carry a -75% Evasion debuff — an exceptionally rare and powerful tool.

He excels above all in Chaos Ruins, where his damage output becomes truly monstrous. He also brings genuine PvP value as a tankbuster, and remains a solid pick across all end-game PvE content. His main limitation is purely defensive — he is not self-sufficient in terms of survivability and requires proper team support to stay alive.

Should You Use Awakened Platin?

Yes — but only if you can awaken him. Awakened Platin is a top-tier Tier S pick in Pve and Pvp.

Strengths

Rare -75% Evasion debuff — one of only four heroes to apply this debuff at this level, now reliably applied thanks to his awakened self-Crit Rate buff.
Dominant in Chaos Ruins — gains a +600% final damage bonus against bosses in this mode, making him one of the strongest picks available.
Powerful tankbuster in PvP — his active deals 5600% Attack AOE plus 50% of the target's Max HP as bonus damage, making short work of tanky Defense-type heroes like Karma.
Unique ally protection mechanic — Priest of Light grants the lowest-HP ally a 3-second full damage block, a rare and innovative mechanic that enables interesting team compositions.

Weaknesses

Poor defensively — no built-in survivability, requiring team support to compensate for his fragility.
Useless without awakening at end-game — without his awakened skills, he cannot compete in high-level content where better unawakedned alternatives exist.

Best Game Modes

  • Chaos Ruins — his best mode by far thanks to the +600% final damage bonus against bosses
  • Nightmare / Deep Nightmare — build full Crit Rate to reliably land his Evasion debuff against Crit Resist enemies
  • Abyss Expedition — solid at high levels, earns his Tier S ranking across all end-game PvE
  • PvP — relevant as a tankbuster, particularly effective against Defense-type compositions

Build & Optimization

Go full Critical Hit Rate to reliably apply his -75% Evasion debuff in Nightmare, Deep Nightmare, and other Crit Resist content. Pair with Crit Damage amplifiers like High Lord Teo or Alicia to maximize his burst. Awakening is mandatory — do not invest in him at end-game without it.

FAQ

Is Platin playable without awakening?

Not at end-game. In early game he can serve as a temporary evasion debuffer, but at high levels there are far better unawakenened options — Elenia being the most notable example. Without his awakening, skip him entirely in end-game content.

Platin vs Chosen Hero Nadan — which one to pick?

Both are very similar in their final damage boost in Chaos Ruins. Prioritize Platin if your team is missing an evasion debuffer, as his -75% Evasion debuff fills a unique role. If you already have three evasion debuffers, they are roughly equal in Chaos Ruins and strong across other modes. That said, if you cannot awaken either of them, Nadan wins — he remains viable unawakenened, as proven by players still running him in Deep Nightmare teams.

Is the Wave of Salvation mechanic (full damage block) useful?

Yes — it is a genuinely unique and innovative mechanic. Automatically granting a full damage block to your lowest-HP ally for 3 seconds opens up interesting synergies and can prevent unexpected team wipes, making it a meaningful addition beyond just raw damage.
