Hero stats interface - Seven Knights Idle Adventure

Attack increase buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureAttack

Attack allows your heroes to deal more damage.
This stat determin basic damage.

HP

Show how much damage your heroes can withstand. When a hero's hp reaches 0, they become Fallen.

Defense Decrease debuff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureDefense

Reduces damage taken, except from attacks that ignore defense.

Accuracy increase buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureAccuracy

Accuracy is the direct opposite of evasion; it prevents the target from dodging.
It is important to note that when the target dodges an attack:

  • In the case of an attack via the critical skill, it cannot be critical.
  • The attack is not successful, so any skills with the “successful attack” label will not have their bonus applied.

For beginners

This is a stat to prioritize in order to get through the bosses in the story without any trouble.
At first, it can be quite difficult to have the right accuracy against the boss.

How to increase your accuracy

  • Accessories
  • Hero potential (you can focus on accuracy if you have < 6 or 7 stars).
  • Stat Bonus
  • Advanced stat Bonus
  • Pets
  • Traits
  • Relics
  • Essence research
  • Guild crest
  • Tower of ascension
  • Blessing
  • Shard of destruction

Once you reach a certain level in the game, accuracy is no longer a problem.
Instead, you should focus on critical rate, as monsters have resistance to critical rate.

If you have problems with dodging/accuracy, remember that in PvE it is essential to:

  • Have a hero who applies an accuracy buff.
  • Have a hero who applies a debuff that reduces evasion.
  • Use dishes against bosses in the story.

Evasion decrease debuff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureEvasion

Increases your chance to dodge. This stat is the opposite of accuracy.
See accuracy for more information about dodging.

Increases critical hit rate buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureCrit hit Rate

The percentage chance of inflicting critical damage.

Note that even if you reach a 100% critical hit chance, this is not enough to guarantee a critical hit.
This is because some monsters and heroes have critical hit resistance.

Why is critical hit so important?

In Seven Knights Idle Adventure, if your hero does not land a critical hit, they will only use their basic attack. This means they won’t apply buffs, won’t apply debuffs, and won’t trigger any passive effects.

On top of that, your critical damage bonuses are completely ignored, which results in extremely low damage output — even if your hero has a powerful active skill.

Example: During a boss fight, my best attempt left the boss at 10% HP. By increasing the critical hit rate by only 6% on one of my heroes — who applies a key debuff on crit — I was able to defeat the boss easily.

Increase critcal damage buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureCritical Damage

Based on the critical hit rate chance to inflict critical damage.

Decrease critcal hit rate resist debuff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureCritical hit rate Resistance

Reduces the probability of the hero suffering a critical hit.

Example: If your hero has 100% critical hit rate and the enemy has 20% critical hit resistance, your effective critical hit chance will be around 80%.

Crit Rate vs Resistance

Crit Rate100%
Resistance20%
Final Crit80%

Final critical hit chance is calculated as Crit Rate - Resistance.

How to counter critical hit rate resistance?

First, you should use a hero that buffs your team's critical hit rate, and another hero that reduces the enemy's critical hit resistance.

Ideally, use heroes that provide 36% bonuses, such as

for critical rate buffs and
Cat Mage Lucia portrait

for resistance reduction.

You should also build your heroes with critical hit rate. However, some heroes do not require it — you can check the full list in our potential guide.

Another strong option is to use heroes that ignore critical hit resistance, such as
Surtr the Last Giant portrait

.

Finally, if you are playing in Nightmare mode, increasing your Shard level can grant up to 50% critical hit rate.

How much critical hit rate do you need in end game?

At my current level (Deep Nightmare 100+), bosses have 178% critical hit resistance.
With awakening bonuses and resistance reduction debuffs, this value can be reduced to around 142%.
To guarantee a 100% critical hit rate, a fully buffed hero therefore needs approximately 242% critical hit rate.

Increase Attack speed buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureAttack Speed

Attack speed corresponds to how many times a hero can attack in a set period of time.
Max value without buff is 200.

Attack speed can be boosted by buffs and also in only two game modes:

Fun fact: Even though each hero in the game is linked to a speed attack, this is not entirely true.
The speed attack displayed corresponds to the basic attack, but the speed attack for critical attacks and active skills may be different.

You can view the list of all heroes and check the actual speed attack values for each hero.

HP recovery

The amount of HP a hero recovers during a set interval.

HP recovery is blocked when the target suffers the curse penalty.

Movement Speed

Displays how far a hero can move in a set period of time.
Max value without buff is 50.

Weakness attack rate increase buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureWeakness Damage

Weakness damage is additional damage that can be triggered after an attack.
It deals 1.5 times additional damage.

Resistance to weakness attack rate can be reduced via a debuff, but only collaboration heroes possess this ability.
Update: A new non-collaboration hero, Sage, can now apply the debuff.

Reduction rate

Chance of activating Reduction. Reduction will decrease final damage by 30%.

Bonus damage rate increase increase buff icons - Seven Knights Idle AdventureDamage Bonus

Damage bonus is another source of additional damage that can be triggered after an attack.

As with the weakness attack, resistance to bonus attack rate can be reduced via a debuff, collaboration heroes and Sage possess this ability.

Vital strike

Vital damage is a new source of damage introduced in the update: 4/17
This stat ignores evasion and deals 1.3 times additional damage.

You can increase your chances of landing a vital strike with the guild crest enchantment.

Update: A new buff who increase Vital strike chance by 24% was introduced, Fenrir is the only hero to possess this buff.

Early Game

At the beginning of the game, the most important stat to prioritize is accuracy, followed closely by critical hit rate.

Why accuracy first?

Early on, you will have very few global bonuses improving your accuracy, and your heroes will not be highly upgraded. Based on my testing, heroes below 5 stars will often struggle to land all their attacks reliably.

However, if you manage to upgrade a hero to 7 stars early, you can directly invest in critical hit rate.

Mid Game

Accuracy becomes less of an issue as you start building a team of around 10 heroes at 7 stars.
Your main focus should now shift toward critical hit rate, especially if you have an awakened Rachel, who provides a 36% team-wide crit boost.

You should still continue improving your passive accuracy by participating in all available game modes.

End Game

At this stage, accuracy is no longer a problem, thanks to passive bonuses and the power of awakened heroes.
For example, in my end-game teams, I use an
Ecila in Dreamland portrait
Ecila in Dreamland
at only 1 star
, and it performs perfectly fine.

Your only goal now is to maximize your critical hit rate. This means rolling legendary critical hit potentials on all your heroes.

You can also unlock heroes like
Miraculous Fortune Teller Erin portrait

, who has a 120% self critical hit buff, allowing you to focus more on attack stats.
