The leader of Hyde Reaper, a demon terrorist organization in Aisha. As a child, he wandered until he was taken in by clowns in the slums, and he grew up learning various tricks and magic. A large fire destroyed his home and killed his new family, and he was left homeless. When Princess Rin came to inspect the slums he lived in, he immediately fell in love with her, and began to wonder how he could become her husband despite his lowly status. Following advice he was given, he formed a terrorist organization to kidnap Pascal, who was sealed away in the imperial palace.

Weakness

Low damage output

Raise is a Ranged Type hero positioned as a DPS Debuffer, but his damage output falls significantly below the standard expected for Legendary-tier investment. While he brings useful utility through self-procured Veil and crowd control effects, his overall contribution to team damage is limited.

His active skill applies Reduction Rate Decrease and grants self-Veil, providing some survivability. The crowd control on critical hits (Stun + Bind) offers utility, and his +50% damage against Melee Type targets gives him niche use against certain bosses. However, these strengths are not enough to offset his low base damage output in the current meta.

Should You Use Raise?

No — Raise is not recommended for investment. His damage output is too low for meaningful contribution, and his self-Veil is insufficient to justify a team slot.

Strengths

Self-procured Veil — The More, the Better grants 10-stack Veil for 10 seconds, providing decent self-sustainability.
Dual CC utility — Critical hits inflict both Stun (1.5s) and Bind (2.5s), providing strong crowd control.
Reduction Rate Decrease — Active skill applies -20% Reduction Rate for 10 seconds, amplifying damage dealt.
Melee Type bonus — +50% final damage against Melee Type targets provides niche boss utility.

Weaknesses

Low damage output — His damage falls well below the acceptable threshold for meaningful team contribution.

Why Raise Stands Out

Raise offers a unique combination of self-Veil, Reduction Rate Decrease, and dual crowd control (Stun + Bind). His ability to independently generate 10-stack Veil without team support provides sustainability, and his -20% Reduction Rate debuff can amplify team damage. However, these utilities do not compensate for his weak base damage, making him a niche choice at best.

Best Game Modes

  • Codex only — limited use due to low damage output

Build & Optimization

Focus on Critical Hit Rate to consistently trigger Raise's crowd control effects and maximize his utility in Deep Nightmare and Hard Boss Challenge encounters.
