The leader of the militia in charge of keeping the order in Prosperity Plaza. Upon reaching adulthood, he had his first taste of alcohol and accidentally destroyed half the village with his bare hands. He then ran away on an adventure. He was able to return to his hometown when his drinking let him singlehandedly defeat a tiger that attacked a village, thanks in part to alcohol brewed by his friend Tsing Tao, whom he met during his travels. Mao Song firmly believes that his friend's brew helps him control his inner self.

Strength

Applies Stun debuff

Weakness

No team utility, Stun too short

Mao Song is a Unique-tier hero in Seven Knights Idle Adventure and is not intended for combat use at any stage of the game. Due to his Unique rarity, his primary purpose is to be leveled up for the Codex rewards, which grant Rubies and permanent stat bonuses for your account.

His only combat utility is applying Stun to enemies via his active skill, but this is heavily outclassed by modern Legendary heroes who provide much stronger crowd control.

Should You Use Mao Song?

No — Mao Song should only be leveled for Codex purposes. His Stun is too short and he provides no team utility to be useful in any team composition.

Strengths

Applies Stun debuff — His active skill "Stone Destroyer" inflicts Stun on enemies, preventing them from attacking, moving, or using skills.

Weaknesses

No team utility — Mao Song provides no buffs to his allies and no meaningful debuffs beyond his weak Stun.
Self-only Defense buff — His critical hit grants Defense Increase, but the 20% value is low and only affects himself.
Unique rarity has no combat viability — Being Unique tier, he cannot compete with Legendary or High Lord heroes even at max investment.

When to Use

Codex progression — Only purpose: level up for Codex rewards and unlock Rubies.

When to Avoid

Any team composition
CC-focused teams
Any combat scenario
