A general under Lu Bu's command. She became the head of her household at a young age and had been caring for her sickly father when he was drafted. Mulan disguised herself as a man and joined the army in his stead. She was placed under the command of her role model, Lu Bu, but was discharged once it was discovered that she was a woman. As a civilian, she suppressed a rebellion while Lu Bu left the Crimson Canyon. Upon returning, Lu Bu acknowledged that gender is not a factor in the making of a great warrior and appointed her the rank of general.

Weakness

Limited team utility

Mulan is a melee DPS hero with a focus on area-of-effect damage. Her Corps' Bow skill hits multiple targets in a 4-meter area over 30 hits for 3 seconds, making her decent for clearing groups of enemies. The conditional +50% Final Damage when attacking Melee Type enemies adds some single-target punch against specific matchups.

However, Mulan lacks the distinctive mechanics that define top-tier heroes. She has no team buffs, no meaningful debuffs, no damage-over-time effects, and no defensive tools like Veil or Immortal. Her self-buff Weakness Attack Rate Increase lasts only 2 seconds, making it difficult to maintain consistently. Compared to other Legendary heroes, she falls into the mid-tier category without standing out in any particular aspect.

🤔

Should You Use Mulan?

Medium — Mulan is a usable DPS hero but lacks the standout mechanics of higher-tier units. She can fill a melee DPS role in early to mid-game teams but lacks the utility to be a priority investment.

Strengths

Reliable AoE damage — Corps' Bow hits multiple targets in a 4m area over 30 hits, making her effective against groups.
Melee-type damage bonus — +50% Final Damage against Melee Type enemies provides meaningful damage against common opponents.
Multi-hit active skill — 30 hits over 3 seconds ensures consistent damage application for effects that trigger on hit.

Weaknesses

Limited team utility — no buffs, debuffs, or support capabilities to contribute to team compositions.
No defensive tools — lacks Veil, Immortal, or self-healing to survive in harder content.

Why Mulan Stands Out

Mulan's main claim to fame is her reliable AoE damage output with Corps' Bow. The 30-hit multi-target skill provides consistent damage in area-of-effect scenarios, and the conditional +50% Final Damage against Melee Type targets gives her some matchup-specific strength. However, without significant team utility or unique mechanics, she remains a solid but unremarkable option in the current hero pool.

Best Game Modes

  • PvE — decent in farming and general content thanks to AoE damage

Build & Optimization

Focus on Critical Hit Rate to maximize damage output, as Mulan's skills benefit from landing critical hits. Critical Hit Damage is a secondary priority to increase burst potential. Avoid defensive stats — she lacks survivability tools regardless of investment.
